Prior to entering veterinary school, Dr. Weisenborn taught Special Education in Ohio.  After graduating from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981, he moved to Maryland, and has practiced small animal medicine since that time.  He opened Aquia Garrisonville Animal Hospital in 1986.  His interests include soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine.

Over the years, he has owned cats, birds and various dog breeds, and currently has three French Bulldogs.

He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association.
